Where do I start...well, I retired from the construction industry and decided to drive cross country on my Harley Davidson motorcycle. My dad was turning 80 at the time and I thought it'd be a nice surprise! The trip from Las Vegas to Boston and back (6700 miles) left me lots of free time which allowed me to think of my next venture.
In the middle of Nebraska I came up with an idea for a board game - not sure why, but I did. When I arrived back home I sought out a woodworking shop to make me some wooden game pieces, and in that research I found a shop that taught classes (thanks Jamie) - now are you seeing the connection?
After several classes, including cutting board classes, box making, table making, furniture, carving, pen turning, etc., I decided that woodworking...and board game design was something I really enjoyed. I've since made hundreds of woodworking projects and licensed 5 board game inventions...with hopefully many more of each to follow.
So, in short, that's my story - hopefully you'll allow me to make you that special piece. I'd appreciate the opportunity and look forward to it, so reach out and let's talk!
Thanks for stopping in,
John
